Dr Bea Brookes is very honoured to have been elected to the committee of BACD.This means more influence over the direction of our specialty and greater oppotunity to raise the profile of cosmetic doctors and their skills to the public. Our last conference at the Royal Society of Medicine saw an extensive and diverse educational programme with over 200 doctors in attendance from across the UK.

Meanwhile back at Viridian Medical our practice continues to grow with a growth in demand for all of our treatments. In addition the Smartxide laser is proving popular especially for skin resurfacing around the delicate eye area. Patient feedback has been very positive

VASER liposuction continues to attract much interest both from men and women. The areas most requested by men is the abdomen, love handles and the chest (moobs!). Women continue to request treatment for the abdomen saddlebags and thighs. Please see information page and the gallery.

We're often asked what is the most popular treatment? Overall the most popular in sheer numbers is still botulinum and the most popular filling area are the marionette lines-when done well, filling these can make a significant difference and give the whole lower face a mini-lift, with very high patient satisfaction
